As someone who is down right frugal, cheap, and a penny pincher, you're probably surprised I own anything from Lululemon. I got a pair of Lululemon Wunder Under Crop Pants on a tag sale facebook group, they are sold for $82 and I purchased mine for $50. I needed to see what the hype was about this brand. I am very glad I got them but surprisingly...NOT impressed! I think the waist band is too low for an exercise crop pant. These are on Lululemon's website under yoga. So after not being happy with them for 2 hours of exercise (lifting and aerobics) and 1 hour of running, I decided, I can't be unhappy with them unless I try them what they are meant to be for. This morning I went to yoga and had the same problem, the waist band is so low that I has to constantly pull them up.
To save everyone almost $60, I would recommend switching to Active by Old Navy's Compression Capris. Some have a draw string, which I like, and can be worn higher or lower, depending on your preference. I have not found an exercise line that I am more impressed with than Active by Old Navy, the colors are vibrant, the clothes fit true to size, and the pieces are classic and timeless.
I can honestly say, I am still interested in the Lululemon tank tops with sports bras built in but I guess I will wait until one that I like pops up in the "We made too much" section. Danielle, another frugal blogger, told me about that area and I am so glad she did!
Happy shopping and happy savings!
